Hi!!
It took me quite long, but I finished it! I was asked to commission a Touka Kureha cosplay for DD. Here you have some picutures of my Nia-Kureha :)

Full set includes: Head ribbon, necklace, top, belt, skirt, sleeves, boots and bow.
Nia: “Kureha deeesuuu”

The bow was made by my father, he loves to work with wood as a hobby :) He kindly made this bow specially for this dress, I love it! it’s just as the original!
detail of the top of the bow
Center part of the bow
End part of the bow. The rope is elastic so you can make Kureha shoot too ^^

Zoom of the necklace and top. I hand painted the flower on the chest with some special paint for fabric.
Ribbon, the original drawing has this “donkey ears” so I tried to make it as similar to the original as possible!
I also hand painted this part. I like how the skirt turned out. I didn’t attach the yellow piece to it, this way the skirt can be used for another dress :D
The sleeves, this is maybe the most visible part of the whole dress. It took me quite a lot of trial-error tried to get them look like this. I tried many things to make the border, but ended up embroidering them with the machine.

And the boots. Custom made too. I made them of patent leather and my father made a mold for the heels. In this first picture the boots weren’t complete yet. I will update after this weekend :)

thanks for looking!

That’s simply a stunning Kureha cosplay outfit, really looks spot on as it is drawn by Tony Taka. Very impressive craftsmanship!

Thanks! I always try to make is as similar to the original one as possible, i was lucky with the sleeves, the material was thick enough no make them look like in the illustration, but it’s quite impossible on a humansized cosplay xD

You did a very good job on the Kureha outfit, and I respect your father for being so talented!

I wonder if Volks will make Kureha DD now when they see how pretty she would be? That bow and outfit are amazigly beautifull, hopefully you will add more pictures ^_^

Haha, it can be possible, because Kureha is a really nice character to make into a doll. I did Beatrice’s dress and soon after they released the doll, someone even joked if they contacted me for the pattern of the dress because details looked so similar, lol, I wish they did :p

Wow your work is perfect! The boots only look a bit loose but other then that it’s ABSOLUTELY perfect! Not even volks would have done such a professional work! I wish I had your talent! I would have been able to complete my custom Saber :)

hi! thanks so much xD, the boots are loose on purpose! :D the illustration I had as reference looked like loose socks, that is why I made them like this. I wonder if volks will release DD Kureha one day :)
